Partner & Design Director
I've using the Internet since AOL 1.0 was installed with a floppy disc. My obsession with the Internet immediately flourished which drove me to design and develop my own personal websites a few years later. My design chops are rooted by Geocities and Photoshop 3.0.
I love examining the multifaceted nature of human interaction, connecting it with the technology that has naturally become a part of our daily lives, and dreaming up ways to make those experiences more engaging and memorable.
Simplicity is about subtracting the obvious and adding the meaningful.
The Laws of Simplicity
Where did you grow up?
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Anesthesiologist or architect
If you could have any super power, what would it be?
What's a fun fact about yourself that you'd want to share with people?
My childhood best friend and I thought we were going to be basketball players one day so we gave ourselves manly nicknames: mine was "Nathan" and hers was "Kris".
On top of that, people always mistook me for a boy because I had short hair, wore baggy pants, tagged along with my brother and snuck into raves and hip hop shows, and attempted to break dance with his friends.
What's your favorite movie of ALL TIME?
That's a tough one. It's either How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Wall-E, She's All That, Dumb & Dumber, Amélie, or Zoolander.
Tell us something that no one knows about you.
I used to double fist baby bottles and, sadly, moved on from that when I was 7. One bottle was Pepsi and the other was milk.
