Funsize Ventures invests with design capital (design services in exchange for equity). While we consider all opportunities equally, we are most interested in investing in minority, female, and family-based founders, whose businesses do good for humanity or Planet Earth.
Deal Structures
CUSTOMIZED
No two companies are the same and neither are deal structures. Our goal is to create the best arrangement that best meets the needs of each company and Funsize’s risk.
EQUITY OPTIONS
Common deals are structured in a mix of cash and up to 60% equity on a convertible note. In rare cases we may consider 100% equity as co-founders for 1-5% direct ownership. Some opportunities are just too exciting for us not to consider this possibility.
CASH DISCOUNTS
We can’t invest in everyone and not every company is looking for an investment partner. In these cases there’s nothing wrong with a cash deal. Our cash-only deals are specially priced with discounts just for startups.
